Tidi congratulates Macaulay at 61

Comrade Ovouzuorie Macaulay,

The chairman of Warri South council area, Dr Michael Tidi on Monday congratulated the Director General of Warri Uvwie and Environs Special Development Agency, Comrade Ovouzuorie Macaulay, as he celebrates his birth anniversary today.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere in Warri.

He described the former labour leader as a man of many parts who has and is still contributing a lot to the Delta State Government.

He said Comrade Macaulay, who was also a former Secretary to the Delta State Government is an astute leader, administrator and political stalwart whose leadership credentials were worthy of emulation.

“By all accounts, Comrade [Chief] Ovuozourie Macaulay who attained 61-years today Monday, October, 25, 2021, will no doubt be an instant toast of writers and tribute-payers because there is much to say in admiration of this quintessential individual .

“Even the most dyed-in-wool cynics will find something complimentary to say about Macaulay, as the elements seem to be well-mixed in him.

“As you mark your 51 years today, we celebrate you and all that you have accomplished through your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as a labour leader and as the immediate past Secretary to the State Government and now Director General, WUEDA.

“Your leadership prowess has continued to reverberate round the entire Isoko nation, Delta State and beyond and we celebrate your unforgettable contributions to advancing our state,” Tidi said

He added that Comrade Macaulay’s commitment to humanity, and how he has, at different times through various capacities, impacted the people he lead, marked him out as a light that cannot be hidden.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South Local Government Area, we appreciate you and all you have done and still doing for the people of Delta. Congratulations and wishing you many more years of fruitful service to humanity,” the council boss added.
