GROUP URGED BUHARI TO BRING IBORI BACK HOME

Blessing Anukwu,the national President of the body who spoke to news men in Lagos at the ocean view Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos expressed concern over the continuous detention of Chief James Ibori the former governor of Delta State even when it is clear that there is prison Swap arrangement that can be utilized by President MuhammaduBuhari to bring this illustrious son of Delta back home with no strings attached.

Blessing Anukwu, The National President of “Free Ibori Campaign Organization”(FICO) described Ibori as a victim of Circumstance, asserting that “Justice will soon prevail in the Ibori case.”

Blessing Anukwu while stressing the point that politicians should avoid the pull down syndrome approach to their political opponents maintained that, “The continuous incarceration of the amiable former governor of Delta State is indeedinhuman and unimaginable considering the good works he did for Delta between 2003 and 2007”.

Blessing Anukwu drew the attention of all to retrospect to the good old days and key into the crusade of freedom for Chief James Ibori.
In His own remark, the Secretary Friday Agbigbe noted that Ibori will do even better if He is given the opportunity to come back to serve his father land.

Also Speaking, Mr. OdionAdegebala the publicity Secretary of the group re-affirmed that what Ibori did for Delta State remains a land mark for generations to come.

In his own remark,MrOnosOyibo the special advisor of (FICO) maintained that the view that, bringing Ibori back home is the best thingfor President Buhari to do bearing in mind the positive aura that he will add to our political landscape.

Speaking in the same vein, Mr Godwin Samuel , the youth Co-Ordinator of (FICO ) said that “according to research status in terms of allocations received ,Ibori built bridges ,schools ,roads and employed Delta Youth during His tenure.To the Best of my knowledge Samuel Godwin asserted that ,Ibori remains the Best Governor Delta has ever produced.

Another High profile member of (FICO) who also spoke Mr. Solomon Ojavwie the Treasurer of FICO noted with displeasure that “Enough is enough “asserting further that Ibori should be released now to allow peace to reign in Delta State .

The FICO Chieftain Solomon Ojavwie expressed the view that Freedom for Ibori is freedom for the masses in Delta State.

Rev. Mike Omogangan ,the Public Relations Officer of FICO who also spoke ,recalled the good days of Chief James Ibori. According to him Chief James Iboridistributed the commonwealth of the State proportionately to every nook and cranny.

To further support the claim, Christy Diodemise Erakpotobor observed that Iborienlightened Delta State,gave us what rightfully belonged to us, schools to our children, work to our men and showed our youth how to fight for their rights.

In her summation, she said “Ibori is her Hero”.
Another FICO stakeholder who spoke also concurred when he noted that Ibori isthe “Best governor” till tomorrow. David Ebrunuwho could not hide his feelingsalso towed the same line when he posited that Chief James Ibori is a leader in the czar of democracy in Delta State.
To support those who spoke earlier Umukoro Friday said “God Almighty will have mercy onIbori.”

Many others including MichealMukorodescribed Ibori as a man needed so much to help put candour to our modern democracy.He concluded by asserting that selfish interests pushed our Odidigborigbo out of Nigeria,today we are all crying and waiting for our political messiah to come.
