Ododegho Community Gets New Executive

Ododegho community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta has elected new executive members to pilot affairs of the community for the next three years.
In an election conducted January 27, 2017, in the community, saw Comrade Gabriel Regha a seasoned media practitioner with Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Warri, as the President General while Prince Felix Edoyise emerged as Secretary General.
Addressing a mammoth crowd at the community primary school field at the inauguration of the new EXCO over the weekend, Comrade Regha called on the indigenes of Ododegho to always see themselves as one people and assured them of open door policy.
The new President General also called on the State and Local Government to come to the aid of the community in the area of even development particularly the roads leading to the community which he described as lamentable.
According to him, the community is totally cut off during raining seasons forcing the people to relocate during the wet seasons
He also appealed to the people to remain calm and continue to support the Delta state Government to achieve the Prosperity for All Deltans Agenda.
Our Correspondent reports that the oaths of office were administered on the new EXCO members by the Secretary- General of Ughelli Descendants Union Barrister Peter Egbo.
