NUJ Warri Congratulates Prince Olusoji on Doctorate Honour

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents’ Chapel, has congratulated the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grosvenor Group, Asiwaju Engr. Prince Olatunji Olusoji, on the conferment of a Doctorate Degree in Humanities.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade Okpomor Victor, and Secretary, Igafe Edeki, the union described the recognition as a reward for Olusoji’s “dedication, hard work, kindness and love for humanity.”
The NUJ noted that the conferment on the founder of the Prince Olatunji Olusoji Foundation (PROOF) was a testament to his contributions to academic excellence, philanthropy, and service to society.
“Through your foundation, you have shaped lives in the field of education and other spheres of life. We, in the Warri Correspondents’ Chapel, are also beneficiaries of your benevolence, and your disposition to uplifting people is worthy of emulation,” the statement read.
The Chapel recalled that Prince Olusoji’s outstanding contributions had earlier earned him recognition during its 2025 Press Week and the inauguration of its edifice, the High Chief Dr. Government Ekpemupolo a.k.a. Tompolo Press Centre.
While rejoicing with him on the latest milestone, the NUJ Warri Correspondents’ Chapel expressed optimism that the honour would be the beginning of greater accomplishments for Olusoji.
The union also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, strength, and good health for the business leader and philanthropist, assuring him of the Chapel’s sustained support for his initiatives and organisations.
