Niger Delta Ex-militants

The Head, Niger Delta Security for Muhammadu Buhari in the South South, Commander Bibi Oduku disclosed this recently when he led a delegation of ex militants drawn from the South South to restate their position to the national leaders of the APC in Abuja.

Commander Bibi who said his group is fully committed to peace and security initiative in the South South, expressed confidence that the ex militants will discharge their duties in a transparent manner without fear or favour.

“I know my group and my group knows me. It is our avowed commitment to take the bull by the horn to establish transparency and firm determination in carrying out the duties that will be assigned to us by the incoming administration of Muhammadu Buhari”.

Bibi, who also assured that his group will resist infiltration by bad elements and negative influence in the region, advised elders and political leaders to embrace positive change represented by Muhammadu Buhari and desist from all form of selfish and retrogressive conduct that has continued to draw the region backwards.

According to him, “let us say it now to party leaders and everyone that any attempt by any leader from the Niger Delta to pocket this group for selfish interest against the focus of the progressives will be resisted to the last order. Let me therefore advise any leader that is nursing such desire to quickly erase it because we solely believe in making positive change in line with Muhammadu Buhari ideals. We shall not compromise injustice of any kind”, Commander Bibi concluded.
