MU’AZU HANDS PARTY FLAGS TO 25 PDP CANDIDATES FOR OCT. 25 COUNCIL POLLS

National Chairman, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Adamu Mu’Azu, has  handed over the party flags to candidates of the party in the 25 council areas of the State in preparations for the October 25, 2014 Local Government
elections in Delta State.

Speaking during the ceremony, Alhaji Mu’Azu, charged the flag bearers to be above board in their service to God and humanity and uphold the sanctity of the party, he boasted that victory was assurred for the party as Delta was a PDP State and would remain
so.

Alhaji Mu’Azu who was flanked by Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, governor of
Delta state assured the flagbearers of the support of the national leadership of the party in mobilizing for their victories in the forthcoming Local Government Councils election.

The National Chairman of the PDP advised them to shun acts that could affect their political future and the fortunes of the party in their council areas, adding that the council chairmanship was a stepping stone for their political prosperity.

Alhaji Mu’Azu who earlier commissioned the new party secretariat in the State, congratulated the governor, Dr. Uduaghan and the State Executive of the party for the great works they were doing in the State.

In a welcome address earlier,  Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, Delta State Chairman of the PDP said the flag presentation was symbolic, he welcomed Alhaji Adamu Mu’Azu to the State saying that the presence of the national chairman would further shore up the prosperity of the party in the State.

Congratulating the flagbearers, Chief Nwaoboshi told them to strengthen their campaigns to earn landslide victory for the party in the October 25 polls.

Those that received the flags include Mr Henry Baro, Uvwie; Mr Paul Etaiga, Ughelli South; Mr Kenneth Ibru, Ughelli North; Mr. Chucks Oseme, Aniocha North; Isaac Awuzia, Aniocha South; Chief Oluwole Karitimi; Bomadi, Chief Ebikeme Clark, Burutu; Mrs Faith Majemite, Ethiope East; Solomon Golley, Ethiope West; Francis Ebonka, Ika North East; Fred Nwakego, Ika South; Emmanuel Egbabor, Isoko North and Malik Ikpokpo, Isoko South, Hon. Mofe Edema, Warri South.

Others are; Mrs Nkechi Enuma-Chukwura, Ndokwa East; Ifeanyi Osakwe, Ndokwa West; Chief Godwin Ejinyere, Okpe; Mr Luis Ndukwe, Oshimili North; John Obuson, Oshimili South; Mrs Josephine Abeki, Patani; Mr Ejaife Odebala, Sapele; Solomon Kpomah, Udu; Mrs Bennedicta Osakwuni-Izugbu, Ukwani; Francis Maku, Warri North and Mr Omadeli Weyimi, Warri South West.
