I can speak for my word and to be honest, you can see the litany of people that came to, of course, exercise their franchise. And of course, from the report I’ve gotten, you know, the turnout was very impressive. It’s more than what we had in the last election.”
Dr. Tidi also praised the efforts of Governor of Delta State, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Commissioner of Police for their proactive measures in deploying security personnel, including the DSS and Civil Defense, to ensure a safe and secure voting environment. He noted the presence of security personnel at every polling unit, which contributed to the smooth conduct of the election.
Furthermore, Dr. Tidi expressed his gratitude to PDP party faithful for their unwavering support for the party and acknowledged the collaborative efforts of himself and Hon. Sylvester Ijabor in overseeing the electoral process in their respective capacities.
