Izeze Restates Oborevwori ‘s Zero Tolerance For Substandard Jobs.

Comr. Reuben Izeze, Commissioner for Works(Urban Roads & Highways) has restated the resolve of the Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori led administration in Delta to deliver quality projects that would stand the test of time as well as touch the lives of the people of the State.
Hon. Izeze disclosed this during his inspection of level of of work done on the Umeh Bridge in Isoko South Local Government Area, he commended the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori for giving the right leadership to Deltans.
Comr. Izeze said that Governor Oborevwori led administration would not tolerate any form of substandard job or ones done through ‘short cuts’ in the execution of projects in the state, adding that, “every money spent on projects must derive its expected value. No contractor is bigger than the state”.
He said that he has no doubt on Setraco Nig. Ltd, the contracting firm handling the project to deliver a quality job, saying that the Superintendent Engineer, as well as the zonal Engineer have all been in the project site to ascertain the quality and progress of the work, adding , ” the entire Department of Highways and Urban Works are working on same page in ensuring quality job delivery.”
According to him, “the opening up of natural waterways were to ensure the protection of the bridge from any effect of flood. I am using this opportunity to call on the good of people of Umeh to continue to support the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori for the good work he is doing in the state.”
Hon. Izeze , one time member, Delta State House of Assembly commended one of the Community leader, Chief. Duncan Afahokor, the Ododo of Umeh kingdom for his continued advocacy for the good of the Community which has paid off with the repair work on the Umeh Bridge.
In their respective response, Chief Dennis Akwakwa, President General of Umeh Community, Chief. Duncan Afahokor, a Community leader, as well as the Majority leader of the Eight (8) Isoko South Legislative House, Eza Elohor, commended the State Government for the prompt response to their plight without which Umeh Community would have been cut off.
They also applauded Rt. Hon. Oborevwori for his M-O-R-E agenda and the laudable projects he is executing in the state.
