This was disclosed by Prof. Iyk Nathan Uzorma, Chancellor, Global Harvest Christian University, Owerri Imo State while speaking in Warri at the launching of a book, “Practical Safety Guide for Everyone” authored by an Environment and Safety Professional, Engr. Ifiokabasi Edet Udo, he said rather than divide, the country should undergo restructuring so that every segment will have a sense of belonging.

Professor Uzorma who is also the Archbishop of Harbinger of the Last Covenant Ministry insisted that it has been revealed to him “in the spirit” that Nigeria will not divide,

Prof. Uzorma then called on the authorities in the country to work hard towards restructuring by carrying everybody along “and tow the line of the European Union”.

According to Prof. Uzorma, “the raging spirit of destruction of lives and properties across Nigeria cannot make a nation to grow. We need spirit of peace to live together as a big nation”.

He said, “in Europe, they now have European Union which is better for them. They have European flag, European money and many countries are now coming together.
Nigeria can tow that line of unity through restructuring whereby the respective ethnic nationalities can grow at their own pace to their maximum capacities. Dividing is not going to work”.

Speaking further, Prof. Uzorma added, “the cost of governance in Nigeria presently is very bogus. We have to cut our coat according to our cloth and also empower the Local Government Councils so that they would be able to bring down the dividends of governance to the masses because they are more closer to the people than the Federal and State Governments..”

The Prof spoke further, “even in Ghana, they don’t have Upper and Lower Chambers in their Legislature. They just have Parliament.
The United States which operates this our system is very rich. The money we spent in running governments could have been utilized in providing infrastructures, employment and also empower Local Government Councils so that they can bring dividends of governance down to the masses.”

He added, “I think there has to be urgent restructuring of Nigeria along the line that would have cut our coat according to our cloth.”
