Emiko, a former journalist with the Nigeria Television Authority, NTA and one time editor of defunct Bendel Broadcasting Service, Benin made this promise while briefing newsmen in Warri recently.

He stressed that APC remain the only alternative to end the reign of bad governance the ruling People Democratic Party, PDP has offered the country.

The APC candidate also disclosed that it was the turn of the Itsekiri ethnic nationality to produce the senator representing the area at the National Assembly following tacit agreement among the different ethnic groups in the area.

According to him, the political positions in the Delta South are shared among the three prominent ethnic groups of Isoko, Ijaw and Itsekiri, noting that three-term Senator James Manager who currently represents the area has served for the Ijaws of Delta and now it is the town of the Itsekiri nation.

He added that Delta South which he considered to have contributed immensely to the nation’s economy has nothing to show due to poor representation from the incumbent senator, stressing that the yearnings and demands of the people of the area were been poorly addressed by their representatives.

“There is nothing to show for the years of PDP rule in Delta South for those who represent us. Our vision is to bring about effective representation to our people. Despite the huge resources in our land, our communities are in complete darkness and those who represent us don’t speak for us. The APC will fix these mess”, Emiko declared.

Continuing, he said an APC government would open up development in the area, promising to establish fish processing units in the riverine communities to better the lots of the people of the senatorial district.

Emiko averred that the chances of the APC in 2015 general elections are very bright assuring that from national to state levels his party would flush out the ruling PDP for failing the country.
