The Ovie of Agbarha-Otor Kingdom, Ebelle Okorefe 1, while receiving Mrs. Emerhor and her medical team at his palace, said the people of his kingdom were overwhelmed with her gesture, noting that what she has done for the people has never been done by any other candidate from other political parties.

He said the people of Agbarho-Otor will work with her and her husband in their quest to occupy Government House, Asaba, adding that he will sensitize the people of the kingdom on the need for them to get their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) so that they will be able to exercise their franchise.

The Okorefe 1 of Agbarha-Otor kingdom also said that it was high time the people of Delta State tried another political party to see if the needed change that everybody was clamouring for would be achieved, stressing that the people have been living in bondage for too long and that now was the time for the people to alter their destinies.

On her part, Olorogun (Mrs.) Emerhor said that what she is doing was her own small way of complementing her husband’s effort during this campaign period, adding that APC is the party to beat in this election. She promised the people that once her husband gets the seat, there will be free medical care for everybody in the state, with special focus on the less privileged ones in the society.

The free medical treatment was given to the aged, women, youth and children. Other items delivered to the people were; rappers, bags of rice, bags of salt, note books, pen, T-shirt, plastic rubbers and cash.
