DTHA 2019: Adjogbe endorses Otobrise for Ethiope East seat

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, and Executive Director Projects of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr. Dr. Sam Adjogbe has urged the people of Ethiope East state constituency to rally round and support Engr Omamuyovwi John Otobrise, front line APC aspirant for Ethiope East seat at the Delta State House of Assembly.
Engr. Dr Adjogbe made this call last Wednesday when the House of Assembly hopeful and his campaign team paid a consultation visit to him, at his country home in Evwreni, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Executive Director of NDDC said that it was time that Ethiope East enjoyed effective and finctional representation at the state legislature, having been under-represented in the last three years, which has led to gross under development of the constituency.
He expressed confidence that Engr Otobrise has the needed experience and exposure to turn the fortunes of the constituency around through robust and qualitative representation.
Engr Adjogbe explained that Engr. Omamuyovwi Otobrise is a grassroot politician who lives with the people and so understands their needs and aspirations.
He noted that Otobrise is a seasoned technocrat and a former banker with ample experience in politics having served as the Senatorial Representative for Ethiope East under the late erudite and popularly adjudged best lawmaker Delta Central has ever produced, Senator Pius Ewherido, who represented the Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly between 2011 and 2013.
He stressed that, if given the mandate, Engr Otobrise will use his experience to attract investors to the constituency which will help to harness its abundant natural and human resources, create employment and boost socio-economic activities of the area.
Engr. Dr Adjogbe urged APC leaders and members in the constituency to give Engr Otobrise the opportunity to fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming election, noting that he is one of the founding members of the party in the state who has worked hard for its success over the years.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Executive Director of NDDC, Sir Ejaeta Odjugo explained that Engr Otobrise is a tested, trusted and loyal party man that deserves their support.
Sir Odjugo expressed confidence that Engr Otobrise will be able to realize his dream through the APC noting that with Olorogun Otega Emerhor as the recognized leader of the party in the state, victory is sure for all candidates of the party in 2019.
