DESOPADEC Indigenous Contractors Forum’s Chairman, Ogie Samson Felicitates Oborevwori Over Appeal Court Victory
Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Indigenous Contractors Forum, Engr Ogie Samson has congratulated Hon Sheriff Oborevwori over his victory as governor of Delta State by the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos.
Speaking with Journalists over the weekend on the sideline of the forum’s meeting in Warri, Ogie described Sheriff Oborevwori’s clearance by the Appeal Court as a great victory for the people of Delta and a sign that the state is in order.
“I will speak, in all confidence, that having Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as the governor is the desire of the good people of Delta State because the position requires only agile and intellectual personality like him”, he said.
Ogie urged the candidates who lost in the last gubernatorial elections to rally round the incumbent and contribute their quota to the development of the state.
“I want to remind them that Oborevwori as the Governor of the state is the father and leader of all Deltans irrespective of their political leanings and their need their contributions and unity in efforts to move the state forward.
“This should be the period where distraction should be avoided and people should be available to encourage Hon Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration for a better delta State”, he added.
