President Muhammadu Buhari received a very important guest at the statehouse today, May 26.
The Nigerian president welcomed Sir, Dr Alex Ekwueme, the first elected Vice-President of Nigeria.
Ekwueme served in office from 1979 to 1983 in the Shehu Shagari era, and it is speculated that the ex-VP came to discuss with Buhari on issues pertaining to the state of the nation and the way forward towards a united Nigeria.
The total outcome of their meeting remains a bit sketchy, but will be made available shortly.
