Ugo Club gives free medical treatment to Owhelogbo indigenes

In a bid to improve the healthy life of Owhelogbo people in Isoko North Local Government Area, a social club, Ugo Club of Nigeria,  in Owhelogbo recently organized a free medical free treatment for Owhelogbo people.

The free medical exercise which was held at the country home of the President of Ugo Club, Engr Sam Oghale Akporeha saw over 90 indigenes of Owhelogbo (both old and young ones) with various ailment being tested and treated.

Speaking to newsmen after the exercise, the President of Ugo Club, Engr. Sam Oghale Akporeha said that, the exercise was the Club’s primary objective of improving the healty life of the less privilege in Owhelogbo.

He said, ”It behooves on us as a Club with great ingenuity to improve and add value to the lives of our people despite the situation we found ourselves. That is why we invited our people here to receive free medical test and treatment on different ailments they are suffering for.

”The Club deems it necessary to invite a team of doctors through the assistance of one of our member Dr Israel Adhaigho to test and treat the people and as you can see the turn-out is encouraging.”

When asked whether the exercise will be a continuous one, Engr Akporeha said that the exercise will be a continuous one as some of the people cannot afford to treat some of the ailments which are killer diseases.
