Ebilove Fitness House Hosts End-of-Year Party, Iron Man Competition in Ughelli

The owner of Ebilove Fitness House, Mrs Lawuru Ebilove, has reiterated the importance of perseverance, discipline, and healthy living as key drivers of personal and business success.

She made this known during an interview with journalists shortly after the Ebilove End-of-Year Party and 2025 Iron Man of the Year Competition (Half Edition), held at the fitness centre in Afiesere Town, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
One of the highlights of the event was the fiercely contested Iron Man Challenge, which was eventually won by Mr. Charlypan, drawing applause from fitness enthusiasts and guests who attended the celebration.

Speaking on her journey, Lawuru revealed that she has been in the fitness business for several years and recently relocated to Ughelli by the grace of God. She admitted that the business is not yet fully lucrative but expressed optimism that growth will come with time.
“In business, perseverance is very important. When you persevere, you will eventually achieve your goals,” she said.

Emphasizing the link between health and economic productivity, Kingsley described fitness as a necessary investment rather than a luxury.
“There is a popular saying that health is wealth. If your health truly is your wealth, then you must invest in it to build lasting prosperity. When you are not healthy, you won’t even have the strength to pursue wealth,” she noted.
According to her, regular exercise helps the body burn excess carbohydrates and calories, strengthens muscles and tissues, and improves overall wellbeing, thereby preventing burnout.

Like many entrepreneurs, Kingsley identified financial constraints as her major challenge, but stressed that faith and focus have kept her going despite discouragement from some quarters.
“When God is on your side, you don’t listen to side talks. Many people discourage rather than motivate, but you must stay focused,” she said.

She advised aspiring entrepreneurs to clearly define their goals, aims, and objectives, and to regularly assess their progress.
Delivering a message to youths and fitness lovers, Lawuru urged those with talents not to give up, despite the prevailing economic challenges in the country.
“Success is possible with determination, discipline, and faith in God,” she stated.

Lawuru added that Ebilove Fitness House is committed to making a positive impact in Ughelli and its environs by promoting fitness and healthy living. She disclosed that the management is engaging relevant bodies and individuals for support to expand its operations.
She also encouraged the public to follow Ebilove Fitness House on Facebook and Instagram for updates, fitness tips, and upcoming programmes.

Others who spoke at the programme commended Lawuru for her tenacity and courage over the years.
They said she has remained consistent in delivering quality services to her clients, adding that that was one of the reasons they had gathered there to celebrate “an exceptional lady.”
