Global Initiative Support Group for Sheriff 2027 Celebrates NUJ Leader, Ogbagah, on Birthday

The Global Initiative Support Group for Sheriff 2027 has joined members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ughelli Correspondents Chapel, media professionals, associates and well-wishers in celebrating Comrade Prince (Dr.) Matthias Ogbagah on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Chairman of the Group in the Diaspora and the Chairman Pro Tem in Nigeria, Olorogun Josiah Ntekume, the group commended Ogbagah for his professionalism, humility, exemplary character and people-oriented leadership style, which it said have continued to endear him to colleagues within and beyond the journalism profession.
The group noted that Comrade Ogbagah’s calm disposition, inclusive leadership approach and strong commitment to mentorship and accountability have played significant roles in strengthening unity, cohesion and relevance within the NUJ Ughelli Correspondents Chapel.
It further applauded his consistent advocacy for ethical journalism, press freedom and capacity building, as well as his promotion of responsible and balanced reportage.
According to the group, his contributions through Rainbow Newspaper, both in print and online platforms, have enhanced community-focused journalism and information dissemination in the state.
The Global Initiative Support Group for Sheriff 2027 expressed appreciation for Ogbagah’s dedication to the growth of the media profession and his positive impact on society.
While wishing him a happy birthday, the group prayed for many more years of good health, wisdom and greater accomplishments, as he continues to serve the journalism profession and the wider society with commitment and integrity.
