Richard Emerges ADC Candidate for Ughelli North Constituency II

Ovwreghederohwo Richard, popularly known as Aduvie, has emerged as the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Ughelli North Constituency II after recording a resounding victory in the party’s primary election.
Richard secured 3,142 votes to defeat other contenders and clinch the party’s ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Announcing the outcome of the exercise, the electoral committee said the primary election was conducted in line with the party’s constitution and guidelines, noting that the result reflected the wishes of delegates across the constituency.
Speaking after being declared winner, Richard described his emergence as a victory for democracy and the people of Ughelli North Constituency II. He pledged to pursue an inclusive campaign anchored on development, youth empowerment, and effective representation.
The ADC candidate expressed appreciation to party members, delegates, and supporters for their confidence in his leadership, while calling on fellow aspirants to unite behind the party’s common goal of winning the election.
“The primary election has once again demonstrated the strength and growing acceptance of the ADC in Ughelli North Constituency II. I am confident that our party will emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections,” he said.
Richard also assured his supporters that the ADC was well-positioned to win elective positions across Delta State, urging residents to support and vote for the party’s candidates at the polls.
