The Chairman of Warri South council area, Dr. Michael Tidi, has felicitated with Muslims in the council as they celebrate 2021 Eid-el-Kabir.

He urged the Islamic faithful to be peaceful and imbibe the spirit of togetherness as been preached by the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

Tidi in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Francis Sadhere on Tuesday, called on his Muslim brothers and sisters in Warri South council area to embrace one another as one.

He reiterated his resolve to work with all non indigenes in the council, adding that at a time like this the message of peace was necessary for the country to move forward.

“On this beautiful day of mercy, peace and forgiveness, I pray that Allah the merciful will grant us all our heart desires. I pray that he will bestow on us the grace to forgive and love for other people. May God be with you and bless you every day of your life.

“Eid is a time for togetherness, joy, forgiveness and thanksgiving. May Allah bless you today and give you the strength to love, forgive at the same time.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South Council, I celebrate with our Muslim brothers in Warri South council area on the occasion of the 2021 Eid-el-Kabir,” Tidi said.
