Delta community urges contractors to go back to sites

The President General of Emevor Progressive Union, Sir Moses Agboro
has called on contractors handling various abandoned contracts in Emevor community to go back to site and complete them.
Sir Agboro made this call recently the Emevor Progressive Union conference held at the Emevor Civic Centre.
The PG listed so of the abandoned projects as; many projects abandoned Block of Classroom in Isi Secondary School, Odion Palace, and the Emevor-Orogun road.
He also solicited for financial assistance from all Emevor sons and daughters in the Diaspora to build an administrative block for the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Emevor study centre as well as increase the community tax for Emevor indigenes residing in urban
areas in other to raise money for the development of the community.
He said, “As a new administration in this community, we have so many tasks ahead of us and to achieve these tasks we all need to cultivate the spirit of unity and positive imagination.
“It is my strong believe that if all our resource are well coordinated, harnessed and work in unity, we can achieve great heights. For they say, where there is a will there is a way. And to accomplish our vision for the community during this our tenure in
office we must all be prepared to release our will power to move Emevor community forward. “
