Uvwie Council Boss Unveiled 25 Qualified Contestants For Miss Delta State Local Govt. Finals

The Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Mrs. Stella Daboner recently unveiled the 25 contestants that qualified for the final contest of Miss Delta State Local Government.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony held at the Uvwie Local Government Council Secretariat, the Chairman, who was represented by the supervisory Councilor on Environment, Hon. Collins Efe Ighrakpata said, they were happy to receive the Queens alongside the organizers, D.O.’S Entertainment proudly sponsored by Chief Barrister Charles Obule.
He said, it takes the fear God to achieve the great feat of becoming Miss Delta State Local Government, and charged them to be courageous and get themselves acquainted with the happenings at the grassroots where they hails from.
According to him, “Uvwie Local Government Council will do everything possible to remove the girl child from the street since the purpose of this event is to promote and showcase the girl child’s development initiative.”
“You have started the journey from the grassroot (local government) by representing your local council and by the time you know it, you become the Delta State Queen, then to South South region, to Miss Nigeria, Miss Africa and end up becoming Miss World which is the highest of all and I know it is your desire to be there and I pray it come to pass through Christ our Lord. Once again, welcome on board.”
Also speaking, the Supervisory Councilor for Finance in the Council, Debbie Edemeroh charged the Queens to be confident about themselves and be ambassadors of peace to their various council areas, the state and the country in general.
She added that you should be humble and allow the fear of God to be your watch-word, know where you are from and do your best to win the crown and we will be glad to hear or see you at the top. Congratulations on this great achievement of representing your local government.
