Pinaza Music Festival: Night Life Returns to Warri as Tidi hails ‘Wafferians’ for turning out en masse
Chairman of the Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi on Sunday thanked the people of Warri for turning up in their large numbers to grace the Pinaza Music Festival featuring Wizkid and others held Saturday at the Warri City Stadium.
Tidi in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere, said the massive turnout at the first ever biggest entertainment show in the city of Warri, was an indication that night life has indeed retuned to the oil city.
He lauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, for creating the enabling environment for the success of the show.
The Warri South Council Chairman, also stressed that the negative narrative often churn out by comedians has been squashed with the success of the Pinaza Music Festival.
He therefore called on investors within and outside Warri to come and invest their money in the oil rich city, assuring that Warri has never been this safe to do business.
He commended the organisers of the event as well as the security agents for ensuring that event was a huge success.
“This is the biggest entertainment show ever held in Warri since the Warri crisis.
“With the success of this show held at the Warri City Stadium, I am sure that this has cleared any doubt about the return of night life in Warri.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank our Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, for tirelessly ensuring that a safer environment was created for investors to come in.
“I also want to thank the organizers of this wonderful event for bringing it to Warri and proving critics wrong that such an event cannot be held in Warri City.
