The Delta State Caretaker Committee of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has extended warm Christmas greetings to party leaders, members, and the people of Delta State, urging unity, peace, and renewed commitment to good governance.
In a Christmas message issued on behalf of the committee, the Secretary, Dr. Michael Tidi Esq., said the festive season offers an opportunity for reflection on the values of love, compassion, and hope, as exemplified by the birth of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Tidi noted that Christmas serves as a reminder of shared humanity and the importance of unity, patience, and collective effort in the quest for a more prosperous Delta State.
He emphasized that although the party currently serves in opposition, its commitment to the welfare of the people and the advancement of good governance remains unwavering.
The caretaker committee commended party leaders for their wisdom, guidance, and sacrifices, while also appreciating the loyalty and dedication of members across wards, communities, and local government areas in the state, describing their steadfastness as a source of strength to the party.
The message further called on leaders, members, and all Deltans to embrace peace, tolerance, and harmony during the festive period, and to sustain hope while working collectively toward a Delta State where leadership is people-oriented and development reaches every home.
Dr. Tidi concluded by wishing residents joy, good health, and prosperity, and prayed for renewed vigor in the pursuit of ideals that unite the people.
