Correct Us When the Need Arises—Okowa Tells Deltans

Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has called on Deltans to correct his administration when necessary so as not to derail from the government’s focus and dream for the people of the state.
Okowa also said in the midst of offering corrective measures to help his administration focus on development programmes, the people of Delta State should shun activities that could hinder the development programmes put together by his administration.
The Governor, who spoke during the thanksgiving service organized to celebrate the state Deputy Governor, Barrister Kingley Otuaro, at the Christ Embassy Church, Warri, urged youths, traditional rulers and community leaders to rededicate their lives to the service of God and humanity.
He stressed that change of attitude in this direction would be of benefit to all Deltans, just as he urged all public officers in the state to join hands in bringing needed transformation to the state.
Okowa said undermining the present economic predicament bedeviling the economy of the nation, his administration would deliver on its SMART agenda of prosperity for all the people of the state.
He said in spite of the drop in oil prices and the state debt profile, his administration was poised to deliver on all its electioneering promises made to Deltans.
The governor said he was glad to have Barr Otuaro as his Deputy, pledging his administration’s willingness to do the right things at all times, and also appealed to Deltans to correct them when the need arises.
The Deputy Governor, Barr Kingsley Otuaro, in company of his wife, Engr. Ebierin Otuaro, said his emergence as Deputy Governor was an act of God and promised to remain a faithful child of God in all his actions.
He said the present economic predicament cannot hamper the prosperity for all Deltans agenda of the present administration.
Barr Otuaro thanked Deltans for believing in him and Senator Okowa, and prayed God to crown all their development plans with resounding success.
