Oghara Monarch, Children Holds Memorial Service for Queen

The Ovie of Oghara Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta state, His Royal Majesty, Noble Oyibo Eshemitan (FCA) Orefe 111, Uku Oghara Na’me had held a 10-year memorial service in remembrance of his beloved late wife, Queen Grace Ogbeta Eshemitan.

The service was held at the Palace Ground of the monarch in Oghara.

Recall that late Queen Eshemitan passed away exactly ten years ago.

During the memorial service, the monarch described his late wife as a woman who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity.

While thanking all those who attended the memorial service, HRM Orefe 111, Uku Oghara Na’me of Oghara Kingdom, urged the people to live impactful lives so that they can be remembered after deatEnd

The children of Late Queen Grace Eshemitan, monarch, Prince Omonigho Charles Eshemitan, Princess Onome Charlotte Akpobaro and Princess Vivian Olojede all pad glowing tribute to their Late mother.

They said that their late mother was the foundation upon which they stand.

They noted that their mother, the Queen was always there to give them the notch which has made them better persons in life and society.

Prince Eshemitan stressed that “there’s always a touch of her teachings in his life and that of his siblings including his father, the Ovie of Oghara Kingdom.

While thanking God Almighty for the life his mother spent here on planet earth, he said, “she made so much sacrifices for them and the family.”

The choir St. Peters Anglican Church, Ogharefe clad in green and white robes provided soulful music during the service, while the Bishop of Sapele Diocese, Rt. Revd. Dr Blessing A. Erifeta presided over the service.

In his sermon, the Bishop praised the life lived by the late Queen and prayed for the repose of her soul

He also prayed to God to guide and keep the monarch and the people of Oghara Kingdom to succeed.

Guests at the event include the monarch of Idjereh Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Monday Whiskey, Udurhie 1, Oghara Traditional Council, amongst other eminent sons and daughters of the Kingdom.
