Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Ighoyota Amori on the occasion of his 72nd birthday, celebrated on August 8.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori praised Amori for his extensive contributions to the growth of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the development of Delta State.
Governor Oborevwori described Amori as an “accomplished leader and consummate politician,” acknowledging his role as the PDP candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District in the 2023 elections.
He expressed gratitude for Amori’s “significant and inspiring commitment” to the party.
The Governor conveyed his congratulations on behalf of the Delta State government and its people, joining Amori’s family, political allies, and other well-wishers in celebrating his milestone birthday.
He also offered prayers for continued divine protection and good health, so Amori may continue his service to the people and to God.
