By Harriet Anetor
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader in Emevor, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Frank Oghor has charged electorates in the forthcoming polls to support and vote en masse for President Goodluck Jonathan, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Senator James Manager, Hon. Leo Ogor, Hon. Tim Owhefere, Hon. Johnson Erijo and Barr. Orezi Esievo.
In a chat with newsmen recently, Oghor noted that a vote for Jonathan is a vote for continuity, progress and development, “Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a focused and determined leader spurred on by his resolute to bring Nigeria out of the dark ages into the limelight through workable and practicable transformational agendas.
On who takes over the reins of leadership in Delta State, Oghor averred that Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa was the only person who will build on the foundation of the outgoing governor. He referred to the flag bearer as an experienced politician who is conversant with the needs of the people having served for the past 16 years in various capacities in the state. “Worthy of note is that Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa these sixteen years has lived amongst Deltans unlike some politicians who only come to Delta every time there is an election.”
He further drummed support for Senator James Manager, Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor, Hon. Tim Owhefere, Hon. Johnson Erijo and Barr. Orezi Esievo. Adding that PDP is the only party that preaches peace and would deliver the dividends of democracy to the electorate once re-elected, stressing that, PDP has since 1999 liberated the people of Nigeria, Delta nay Isoko Nation from darkness and positioned them in light. He charged the electorates to vote PDP at all levels from presidency to the State House of Assembly so that the party’s light would continue to shine on them while cautioning the electorates to be wary of the opposition parties who are out to cajole them with unrealistic promises.
