Oborevwori’s Aide Urges Female Youths to Embrace Dialogue Over Protest

Young women in Delta State have been called upon to choose peaceful and constructive dialogue over protests that might lead to unrest and needless destruction of properties and loss of lives.
This call was made by Miracle Arimobi, Special Assistant on Female Youth Development to Delta State Governor, Rt. Sheriff Oborevwori in Asaba, she appealed to young women, emphasizing the importance of peaceful dialogue over protests.
Arimobi acknowledged the passion and commitment of young women in the community, urging them to channel their abundant energies towards collaboration and positive action.
Accordng to Arimobi, “our energy and enthusiasm are vital to our progress and future. While it’s important to express our views and concerns, we must do so in a way that promotes understanding and unity rather than division.”
The Special Assistant on Female Youth Development to Delta State Governor added, “Iam using this opportunity to encourage female youths to reach out to community leaders and representatives to voice their concerns and propose ideas, highlighting the potential for constructive conversations to lead to meaningful change.
“Instead of protests, let’s focus on solutions and collaboration, I suggest that local initiatives and programs aimed at improving the community would greatly benefit from your involvement.Your involvement can drive progress and showcase the power of collective action.”
She stressed the importance of using their voices to educate others and raise awareness about significant issues just as she emphasized the power of informed discussions and the impact of empowering peers with knowledge.
The Special Assistant also called on female youths to offer their time and skills to community projects that need support, adding, “volunteering is a powerful way to make a tangible difference and inspire others. Stand together and support one another in positive endeavours. Unity among us strengthens our ability to create change.”
Arimobi highlighted the crucial role of youths in shaping the future, she spoke further, “remember, your voice matters, and your actions can shape the future, let us work together to build a community where every voice is heard and respected and where positive change is achieved through peaceful means.”
Arimobi further noted, Iam assuring all female youths of my unwavering support and guidance just as I also reinforce my commitment to your overall development and progress of the Delta State community.”
