NBM Holds 41th National Convention
…To Publish Blueprint in Strengthening Nigeria’s Democracy

The 41th national convention of the Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM), a non-governmental organisation, is scheduled to commence April 11 to 14, 2019.
Also slated for the convention is the 15th annual lecture with the theme in Abuja, “Strengthening The Voices For Nigeria’s Democracy”.
During the lecture, the group’s National President, Engr. Felix Kupa, noted that the NBM has concluded plans to publish and disseminate a blueprint that will boost democracy in Nigeria.
He said at the 41th National Convention, the leadership and members of the movement will be meeting other well-meaning individuals, to dialogue on ways to sustain and improve Nigeria’s democracy.
“Other issues, like extra judicial killings, citing the case of Mr. Kolade Johnson who was recently shot dead by a policeman and the killings in Zamfara, will also be discussed at the convention,” he stated.
According to him, events scheduled to hold are sports and cultural displays to promote Africa’s beauty and values. A blueprint on global democratic best practice would be publish and disseminate at the end of the programme.
The group would also visit the National Assembly, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps and other areas.
It is also expected that thousands of members and lots of guests will be coming from all owalks of life to attend the convention.
