Military men want to invade Omadino -Community Chief Priest cries out

The Spokesman and Chief Priest of
oil-rich Omadino Community Hon. Roland Yomere has raised alarm over an impending invasion of the community by men of the JTF and soldiers of the 3 Battalion Barracks in Warri, Delta State.
This is just as the Community has commenced her 7-day Efa Feastival starting today Friday 3rd July 2022.
Mr. Yomere warned that there is no general meeting of the community on Saturday holding at Omadino and warned trouble makers to call themselves to order.
He disclosed that some disgruntled persons have allegedly sponsor these military men to invade the community but stated that they would defend themselves against in intruders into the internal affairs of Omadino with their last blood. He therefore called on all relevant authorities to take note of the impending invasion and it’s aftermath to avert unnecessary bloodshed.
Arising from an enlarged stakeholders/leaders meeting held at the Nenuwa Hall at Omadino, the Chief Priest / spokeman stated that the Community is making frantic preparation toward the “Ghigho Aghofen” scheduled for the month of June to Honour / pay homage to the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III.
Priest Yomere whose official title is “Ashaka” advised parent to warn their wards against engaging in any acts capable of causing trouible and breaching the peace in Omadino saying that “Pa. Isaac Kokori is the Olaraja (Head) of Omadino Community that can call for a general meeting with the Elder’s Councils and leaders. We do not have two community heads. So any meeting called by any other persons should be ignored and disregarded in its entirety.
According to Chief. Priest Yomere, it was also agreed at the meeting that the Community will set aside a special day to organize the burial of their leader and hero, Amb. Austion Oniyesan a.k.a Gbokwa at Omadino where officials of all the I.O.C.S operating on their land incuding friendly communities, neighbours, friends and well-wishers will be invited.
The meeting presided over by Pa. Isaac Kokori also has the senior Chief Priest, Mr. Temienor Asokansomi (The Ugbedon of Omadino and Secretary of Elders Council, Mr. Ebuge Edukugho and Pa. Thomas Ekpoto, the Acting Chairman of Omadino Community Trust in attendance amongst other prominent Youths, elderly women and ladies of the community.
He explained further that the annual “EFA” festival is a mid-year rites observed in Omadino to cleanse the community and usher in progress, development and protection to indigenes.
