Include Experts From Shell, Mobil and Local Content Board in Management Of Our Refineries —Okotie-Eboh

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been charged to include top management experts in Shell, Mobile and the Nigeria Local Content Board in the management of the country Refineries for them to run efficiently and effectively.
A scion of the late Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, Prince Emma Okotie-Eboh made this call in a statement in Warri yesterday, saying that “with such combination with the NNPCL Management the refineries would become genuinely effective and efficient”.
He argued that the perennial Turn Around Maintenance, TAM, of the Refineries have not yielded the desired results and have instead become a veritable conduit for siphoning the nation’s revenue by a few cabal putting the Nigeria masses in unwarranted suffering in the midst of plenty.
According to Okotie-Eboh who was the immediate past regent of Warri Kingdom, ” while this combined team of experts are at work, the nation should consider building a modern state-of-the-art Refineries or in the alternative, invite the original builders of the dysfunctional refineries to come for a total overhaul instead of the wasteful TAM to line up the pockets of the routine fraudulent and incompetent contractors.
He expressed regret that “it is sad to let the world know that we don’t have any viable refinery and we are a major producer of crude oil and gas” saying that it will also be very unpalatable to the ears to hear and know that we are the world greatest importer of fuel and other products that run our plastic factories.
Okotie-Eboh hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the political will to restructure the management of the NNPCL.
