AS Bayelsans celebrates 20 years of His creation and Nigeria at 56, a frontline PDP chieftain and special Adviser to Governor Dickson on Special Services, Dr. George Fente, has commended Governor Seriake Dickson for his development strides.

Fente, said this while fielding questions from newsmen at his office in Yenegoa. He added Bayelsa is growing rapidly, especially, in the restoration platform despites the dwindling ATVeconomic resources.

The renowned political guru said the various developmental projects embarked upon by the government needed commendation.

While thanking all the previous, Governors for their courage and developmental strides in moving the state to this level, Fente further disclosed that Bayelsa State was a mere virgin land with few buildings and little government presence when it came into existence.

Fente urged Governor Dickson to consolidate on his various projects earmarked or near completion. He also advised Governor Dickson to complete other projects executed by previous governments, noting that there should be no abandon projects in the state if the projects are people oriented.

Also, Hon. Chief Millionia  Asangba, member Senior Secondary School Board and the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dickson, Mr. Iworiso Markson, both said the Government has imparted several meaningfully projects, ranging from security of lives and property to peace and harmony in the state, militancy, kidnapping, and construction of cargo Airport.

Also, the two Chieftains noted that the Agricultural sector, works department, the construction of several road networks in Bayelsa State, and health sector cannot be over emphasized.

The duo said the Governor has built functional hospitals in all the Local government Areas, noting that the standard of education has been so competitive.

While the CPS and Chief Asangba in their separate remarks urged  Bayelsans to always give the needed support to the restoration government, they said though the state finances was not favorable, it was a national phenomenon, but urged Bayelsans to pray fervently for this economic recession.
