Dr Michael Tidi, Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Court of Appeal, stressing that the victory was not a surprise to the People’s Democratic Party in Delta State. The court in its judgment on Friday 24th November, 2023 in Lagos upheld Oborevwori’s election and dismissed Omo-Agege’s appeal for lacking in merit.

The appellate court also upheld the judgment of the lower tribunal. The tribunal in a separate judgment, dismissed the appeal by Kenneth Gbaji of Social Democratic Party, SDP, against PDP, APC and Labour Party, LP and their governorship candidates.
