Akwa Ibom Group Rally Support For Oborevwori, Egbetama

The people of Delta State as well as that of Udu State Constituency have been called upon to give Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Hon. Collins Ovie Egbetama, Member, representing Udu Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly the much needed support with a view to deliver more democracy dividends to them.
This call was made by Akwa Ibom United Movement (AKUM), Delta State chapter in a statement signed by Monday Udoh, Idongesit Udojtia and Pastor Alex Okon, Coordinator, Secretary and Public Relations Officer respectively, the group congratulated Hon. Egbetama on his electoral victory and at the Court of Appeal.
While commending Governor Oborevwori for starting off well in infrastructural developments by awarding three flyover bridges to construction giant, Julius Berger, the group said if the people continues with their support and cooperation with the government, Delta State would be a better place for all, even residents non Deltans like them.
The group consequently appealed to the lawmaker, Hon. Egbetama to extend his benevolence and aid to their community who were currently bedeviled with serious challenges.
They expressed the belief that with the guidance and assistance of Hon. Egbetama, their pressing challenges would be addressed and by implication improved the wellbeing of Akwa ibom indigenes residing in Delta State.
While also congratulating him on his victory at the 2023 polls, the group attributed the lawmaker’s success to dedication, hardwork and the trust the people of Udu Constituency have on him, they called on the people to give their maximum support to the member representing them in the State House of Assembly to enable him accomplish giant developmental strides in the area.
According to the group, “sir, on behalf of Akwa Ibom United Movement (AKUM), Delta State chapter, we extend our warmest congratulations to you on your remarkable victory at the 2023 general elections and your subsequent triumph at the Court of Appeal.
“Your success is a testament to your dedication, hardwork and the trust that the people of Udu Constituency have placed on you.
“We recognize and appreciate the immense responsibility that comes with your position as House of Assembly member for Udu Constituency.
‘Your role in sharing policies and making decision that affect the lives of people in Udu Constituency and state at large is of utmost importance.
“As members of the AKUM, Delta State chapter, we believe in the power of unity and support among Nigerian’s from different states and backgrounds.
“We would like to utilize this platform to request your assistance on behalf of the people of Akwa ibom state indigenes based here in Delta State.
“We humbly request that you extend your support and aid to our community who are facing serious challenge and seeking better opportunities in their adopted state.
“We firmly believe that with your guidance and assistance, we can address the pressing concerns and work towards improving the well-being of our fellow Akwa ibom indigenes in Delta State.”
While acknowledging the numerous task and demands
before as well as ahead of he lawmaker in the face of limited resources, they expressed the hope that the assistance from the Hon. Egbetama would greatly impact the lives of many who were in need.
They spoke further, “we trust in your commitment to being a leader who listens to the voice of the people and strives to make a positive difference in their lives. Once again congratulation on your victories.”
