Agoda Calls on NA to Consider Bill to Penalize Erring Politicians

The Delta Central Senatorial Candidate,Hon.(Barr.)John Ochuko Halims Agoda OFR, has called on the National Assembly to consider a bill to penalize politicians who induce voters with money to buy their conscience during election.
The three time member of the House of Representatives made the call at his Jesse residence during the Senatorial Bye-election in Ethiope West Local Government Area,Delta State.
The lawmaker pointed out that voters should also be arrested with the bill for receiving monies from politicians.
While noting that election has been monetized by party and non-party
members,Hon. Agoda accused politicians of allegedly doling out monies to voters to buy their conscience.
The former member of Delta State House of Assembly described the act as a “new phenomenal going out of hand.”
Hon. Agoda called on Nigerians to shun ethnicism and give the incoming administration of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari a chance to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
Hon. Agoda said,”it is me and you Nigeria’s citizens that will make Buhari work. let us shun ethnicity and give him a chance.”
Hon. Agoda expressed confidence that Gen. Muhammadu Buhari will serve the people of Nigeria given his antecedents as former Head of State,Minister of Petroleum and Chairman of PTDF noting that he is the only Nigerian past leader that has no Oil Bloc in spite of the positions he has held.
