Senator Onowhakpor-Thomas Storms Warri For The 2nd Edition Of The Tenumah Education Support Initiative

The member representing Delta South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Abuja, Senator Joel Onowhakpor-Thomas will storm Warri for the 2nd edition of the Hon. Kingsley Tenumah Education Support Initiative billed to hold at Alders Town School, Odion Road, Warri, Delta State.
The event schedule to come up on 26th June, 2025 at the Primary School premises will feature the distribution of free educational empowerment materials worth over five (5)million naira.
Sponsored by the Senior Special Assistant to the distinguish Senator, Hon. Kingsley Tenumah a.k.a Afere, a former Councilor representing the Ekurede/Ugbori Wards in Warri South LGA of Delta State stated that the gesture is aimed at assisting the pupils of the school and uplifting the standards of teaching and learning at the Primary School.
Tenumah is set to dish out a complete set of over 150 school uniforms; textbooks, notebooks and writing materials and subsidizing 50% payment of enrollment fees of all the Primary Six pupils writing the Common Entrance Examination respectively.
Hon. Afere, a crack grassroots politician in Warri said he has been giving out such gesture as his own way of giving back to the less privilege in the society, saying “this year’s empowerment will cost him well over #5m” even as he task other politicians in the oil City to emulate his gesture.
He disclosed that his Principal, Senator Joel Onowhakpor Thomas will be on ground to witness the epoch making event as the special guest of honour to be supported by the Executive Chairman of Warri South LGA, Hon. Isaac Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, Hon. (Dr) Austin Uroye, member representing Warri Constituency 1 in the state house of assembly and other All Progressives Congress party stalwarts in Warri Federal Constituency including Hon. Vincent Uduaghan a former Delta State Commissioner for Transport.
According to Hon. Tenumah, Senator Onowhakpor-Thomas who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Local Content is billed to personally grace the event and interact thereafter with key party Chieftains in Warri at the event scheduled to kick-off at 10:am prompt.
