DBS WARRI, DPO EKPAN PARTNERS WITH AGRO BODIES TO BOOST GOV. OKOWA’S SMART AGENDA

The General Manager Delta Broadcasting Services Limited (DBS), Warri Delta State Mr. Tunde Omonode has promised to partner with Agro industries to boost the State Government internally generated revenue (IGI) in line with the  SMART Agenda of Governor. Ifeanyi Okowa.

Mr. Omonode  made this promise in his office when the leadership of the Ugboroke Fish Farmers Association visited him in his office on NPA Express way Edjeba -Warri Delta State.

Speaking further in his address to the Ugboroke farmers Association Executives, Mr  Omonode assured them of all necessary assistance to showcase their businesses to the world.

While expressing joy for the visit,   Mr. Omonode promised that, he is ready to use his good office to assist the Ugboroke Farmers Association and all other Agro-based industries to key into the Governor. OKOWA’S SMART Agenda and the mantra of prosperity for all Deltans

In a related development the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Ekpan, a Chief Superintendent of police (CSP) Mr. Chris Sorgbara who paid a working visit to the Ufuoma United Fish Farm Ekpan accompanied by  the Divisional Intelligence Officer (DIO), Mr. Rolland Omovudu promised 24 hour surveillance to  the fish farmers in Ekpan in order to boost SMART  Agenda of Senator.Dr Ifeanyi Okowa the Governor of Delta State.

He praised the efforts of the Ufuoma United Fish Farmers for their input  in the production of fish and employment they are creating coupled with the taxes they pay to the State Government.

The Police Boss maintained that what the farmers are doing is in tandem with the state Government projection of prosperity for all Deltans.

Harping on the value added to the food chain of fish, through the Ufuoma United Fish Farm, the DPO Ekpan, therefore promised to ensure that he  provide  security assistance to complement the efforts of the local vigilantee to guaranty security of lives and property in the farm and its environs.

On a general note, the DPO,  also assured the public especially those within the jurisdiction of the Effurun Divisional Police Command Ekpan of their safety at all times.

In his summation, he called on the people to key into the concept of community policing the pet child of Mr. Solomon Arese the Inspector General of Police (IGP). He emphasized that community policing is a double face approach to nip crime in the bud.
