Chief Patrick Ukah

Chairman of the Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi has congratulated Chief Patrick Ukah, on his reappointment as Secretary to the Delta State Government.

Tidi in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere, described Ukah who was the immediate past Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education in the state, as one of the pillars of the Senator Okowa’s Administration.

Ukah was the Commissioner for Information in the first term of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and later reappointed Commissioner for basic education in this second term.

He said Ukah has contributed in no small measure in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people and also championing Governor Okowa’s vision of posterity for all Deltans.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South Local Government Area, I want to congratulate you on your new appointment as the Secretary to the Delta State Government.

“Your reappointment has indeed shown how valuable your contributions to the Administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa are.

“As a Commissioner for Education, you contributed greatly in helping our Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa advance the course of governance for the good of all Deltans irrespective of political, social and ethnic cleavages.

“I know that with this your new portfolio you will achieve more as you continue to serve humanity because I have worked under you while you were the Commissioner for Information.

“I want to thank our amiable Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for reappointing you into his cabinet again to come and serve.,” Tidi stated.
