Nigerians in general as well as Deltans have been called upon to vote massively for all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 general elections with a view to transform Delta State in particular and Nigeria as a whole.

This call was made by Archbishop Philip E. Orovwuje, Delta State Director, Media & Publicity Subcommittee, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Independent Campaign Council in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State during the 70th birth celebration of Dr. Tosan Alex Ideh, former Commissioner of Health Delta State, he said that a vote for Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as Governor in Delta State and Ede Dafinone as Senator of Delta Central Senatorial District as well a vote for Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as President come 2023 would give the right synergy for overall even development.

Archbishop Orovwuje who is also the chairman, Agege United Leaders and Elders Forum (AGULEF) enjoined Nigerians to take advantage of the ongoing collection of Permanent Voters Cards(PVCs) to vote in All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates to usher in the much needed human capital development at the national and state levels saying that a vote for Omo-Agege as Governor in Delta State is a vote for freedom from ever rising debt profile.

Archbishop Orovwuje congratulated Dr. Tosan Ideh on his 70th birthday, saying that the former Commissioner for Health in Delta State has lived a successful life, adding, “the man’s character should be emulated. He is humble to a fault and he’s a God fearing man. He is politically sound and professionally sound in all ramifications.”

The Archbishop of Garden of Life Assembly (GOLA) added, “Dr. Ideh worked hard to become who God says he should become. He studied. He is a medical doctor, politically, he is sound. Business wise, he is doing well and he is a philanthropist. He built a church as well as a Corper’s Lodge.”

Earlier in his homily, His Grace Most Revd Dr. Augustine Obiora Akubueze, Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Benin City, Apostolic Administrator of Warri Diocese called on political gladiators in Delta State to use their positions to ensure that the forthcoming 2023 elections is peaceful in the State.

According to him, “ Iam using this opportunity to call on political gladiators in the state to work for a peaceful election come 2023.”
