ONE YEAR IN OFFICE: ELUENI HAILS BUHARI

Onetime Delta State House of Assembly aspirant, Isoko North Constituency under the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Andrews Elueni has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his successful one year in office, applauding him on his fight against corruption among others.
Elueni who made this commendation posited that, President Buhari’s one year in office has been focusing on how to sanitize Nigeria from corruption, adding that the economy of the country is coming up gradually in terms of product and price.
He urged Nigerians to be patient with the APC government for the main time, even as he opined that Democracy have come to stay in Nigeria following the peaceful transition from one political party to another.
Dr. Elueni further commended Buhari in his fight against Boko Haram which he said has been fought to a low level even as he condemned the attacks of Fulani Herdsmen in some part of the Country and the Niger Delta Avengers, saying these are distraction to the APC government.
Speaking on the Subsidy removal and the hike in fuel price, the Business guru cum Politician said; “There is nothing like subsidy, what we have was rent; because subsidy is what the government subscribed to and pay on behalf of the citizens to enjoy from. While what had before was detriment to the populace as such, the removal is a step in the right direction to stabilize the economy.
Meanwhile Dr. Andrew Elueni had also described his Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the Executive Governor of Delta State as a performing Governor that will perform more than previous governors judging by the pace of work done so far.
He said that, massive construction and rehabilitation of roads across the road is a pointer to quality leadership sequel to his slogan of prosperity to all; but, had allegedly accused Okowa of being tribalistic to an extent with reference to Agbor as a Capital City in the State even as he urged the Governor of Delta State to finish well and to carry all ethnic nationalities in Delta State along in the same pace.
