Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State has congratulated Mrs Roli Uduaghan, former First Lady of the state on her 65th birth anniversary.
Rt. Hon. Oborevwori in a congratulatory message issued in Asaba by Festus Ahon, his Chief Press Secretary, he described her as a woman of virtue and compassion whose life has been marked by selfless service.
Rt. Hon. Oborevwori commended Mrs. Uduaghan for her contributions to philanthropy and social advocacy, particularly her efforts to support widows, orphans, inmates and other vulnerable members of society.
Rt. Hon. Oborevwori recalled her humanitarian interventions through the “I CARE” initiative during the administration of her husband, former Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, noting that the programme provided relief and empowerment to many less-privileged people across the state.
The Governor said that Mrs. Uduaghan had remained a shining example of compassion, resilience and service to humanity.
According to Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, “on behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I celebrate with you on this special occasion of your 65th birthday.
“This milestone is a testimony to God’s grace upon your life and the numerous lives you have touched with your compassion.”
Rt. Hon. Oborevwori prayed to God to continue to strengthen and bless the celebrant, he wished her good health, peace, fulfilment and many more years of impactful service.
The Governor added, “as you mark this new age, may the Almighty God continue to strengthen you, reward your labour of love, and grant you greater joy in the years ahead”.
