HON FEKOWEIMO PLEDGES QUALITATIVE LEADERSHIP WHEN ELECTED

A former member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly and House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive congress (APC) representing Kolokuma- Opokuma/Yenagoa Federal Constituency, Hon. Ebipadei Fekoweimo has promised a new dawn in terms of effective and purposeful representation for the people of the constituency if elected.
Hon. Fekoweimo made the promise at the Yenagoa APC secretariat while on a constituency – wide consultation with the LGA party executives and political stakeholders in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
According to him, his political antecedents as a former leader of Yenagoa Legislative Assembly and member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly as well as the political structures build over the years put him in good position to represent the party.
The House of Representatives aspirant stated that his wealth of experience as a former lawmaker at both the local government and state levels coupled with his openness and accessibility to the grassroots is an asset, promising not to disappoint the constituency if given the mandate/
He said that the purpose of the visit is to formally inform the party of his intention to seek for the House of Representatives ticket, adding that he is ready to work as a servant leader to bring glory to the party and the constituency.
Responding, the Yenagoa party chairman of APC, Mr. Tonye Okokoro commended Hon. Fekoweimo for the contest, saying that he is well qualified to represent the constituency in view of his past records.
Mr. Okokoro promised a level playing ground for all aspirants and advised him to consult with other political stakeholders in the party.
