Chairman, Isoko North Local Government Area of Dela State, Comrade Emmanuel Egbabor has urged the Local Vigilante group in the area to work in collaboration with Security Agencies to combat crime.

He gave this charge when the Vigilante group paid him a courtesy call in his Office during the week.

He expressed disaffection over the Ozoro Vigilante group just as he commended the efforts of other communities on security measures.

He promised to give them assistance of any kind especially in the area of patrol Van, equipments and possible materials and stressed the need for Local Vigilante to work hand in hand with the police and the Nigerian Army to maintain cordial relationship towards fighting crime.

Hon. Williams Ejogbe, the Leader of Isoko North Vigilante group expressed disappointment over the lack of government Assistance towards vigilante for the past 8 years, stressing that their effort to combat crime has reduced the rate of robbery and kidnapping in Isoko.

He also lamented lack of facilities to work effectively, asking for the assistance from the LGA Chairman to provide for them patrol van and other necessary materials.

Meanwhile, the group had also congratulated Comr. Egbabor s as the Chairman of Isoko North, praying God for a smooth government and democratic gains in his regime, commending Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor Okuweh for assisting Ozoro Vigilante Group and Okpe-Isoko Vigilantee group with a patrol Van each while Hon. Samuel Idise, the immediate past caretaker committee chairman of Isoko North has appreciated for his support to Isoko North Vigilantee in his tenure.
