The District Governor Rotary International District 9141, RTN Eyone Andy Uwejeyan, during the weekend, inducted the Chairman of the Warri South Council Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, into Rotary Club International.

The Warri South Council Boss was inducted into the Club after the installation of RTN Eyone as the District Governor, Rotary International District 9141 for 2021-2022 at a colourful event held at the Event Centre, Asaba.

Tidi who spoke briefly after the induction thanked the club for the honor and promised to do his best to help humanity.

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in communities. Rotary’s people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects.

From literacy and peace to water and health, they are always working to better our world, and they stay committed to the end.

Rotary International District 9141 covers Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, and Rivers states.

The event had in attendance the Executive Governor of Delta State represented by Hon Festus Agas Chief of Staff, Government House, Chief Patrick Ukah, Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Daniel Mayuku Executive Director Projects DESOPADEC, Chief Dr. Joseph Otumara Chairman Warri/Uvwie Development agency, the form District Governor of Rotary International who doubles as the Chairman of Past District Governor forum of Rotary International, Chief Isaac Jemide, Ovie of Oghara, other Rotarians, and top government functionaries.
