The Delta South Senatorial Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama Rtd, has said that those who fail to vote-in the right persons in the forthcoming general election would not be forgiven by their generation.

Nesiama said this on Thursday during a town hall meeting with electorates in Okumagba Ward 2 in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He therefore urged the people of Delta South Senatorial District to get ready to vote saying, “Nobody can intimidate you.”

He said, “No security person will intimidate you because they know that it is one of their own that is contesting.”

The retired Navy Officer assured the people that their votes will count in the forthcoming election.

Nesiama who is fondly referred to as the “Commodore of Hope,” who spoke in pidgin English said “Our mumu done do. We done be mumu for a very long time. A mumu at 40 is a mumu forever.”

Nesiama lamented that for the past twenty four (24) years some persons had been in power with nothing to show for it, stressing that now is the time for the people to change the status quo.
