Isele-Uku, headquarters of Aniocha North Local Government Area was agog recently when Dr. Anthonia Ashiedu, former Commissioner in Delta State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) mobilizes her people enmass to welcome Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy President of the Senate and Governorship candidate of the APC who stormed the area to kick start his campaigns.

Addressing the mammoth crowd that came out to welcome the APC Governorship candidate campaign train, Senator Omo-Agege said that it is time to vote out the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that has impoverished the people at the State level saying the time is ripe now to give Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and his stooge, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori the booth as they have nothing good to offer.

According to Senator Omo-Agege,” all of us right now, even our innocent children and those yet to be born are all debtors, we are liable to the debts incurred by Governor Okowa. As if the burden of debts we are going to pay is not enough, Governor Okowa has decided to impose a stooge who he would be able to manipulate, to continue the theft and squander of the state resources.”

Senator Omo-Agege added, “we are resolute and have agreed across the three Senatorial Districts that we will not allow Okowa a third term through his stooge, Sheriff Oborevwori.”

The Deputy President of the Senate unveiled specifics of the EDGE to BAND Agenda promising to let the people of Anioma nation enjoy life again with him as governor of Delta State.

In her speech, Dr Anthonia Ashiedu called on her people to ensure they cast their votes for Senator Omo-Agege as Governor of Delta State and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections with a view to kick out the Okowa led PDP in the state to forestall continuing impoverishment of the people.

Dr. Ashiedu assured the people that if given the mandate as governor of Delta State, Senator Omo-Agege would work tirelessly to put the state back on track of economic recovery and mass empowerment for women , youths and other Deltans with intent to fast track economic growth and increase Gross Domestic Product
Also speaking, Rt. Hon. Victor rmer Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Victor Ochei former Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly described Senator Omo-Agege as a great politician and a man to be reckoned with, whose pedigree and integrity is standard, pleading with the traditional rulers and their subjects to support APC.

Ochei called on the people of Aniocha North to support the APC, reminding the people that since Issele Uku has the largest population of electorates, they should expect the best in form of infratructural and human development from the government if Senator Omo-Agege becomes the Governor of Delta State come 2023.
