Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly as well as political stakeholders particularly in Udu and Delta State in general have been called upon to find an amicable resolution to the declaration of Udu State Constituency vacant in the interest of the people.

Collins Egbetamah.

While acknowledging the fact that the issue is of the Legislative Arm of Government, Rev. Oyibo said that Rt. Hon. Oborevwori being a Governor and immediate past Speaker of the Assembly still has a lot of influence to intervene and resolve the issue in the overall interest of Udu people that have now being denied of representation.

He pleaded with the leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly under Rt. Hon. Guwor and members of the Assembly to, in the interest of the good people of Udu State work towards amicable resolution of the issue.

“There can be no meaningful development in an atmosphere of chaos or crisis. This is the more reason I am humbly calling on our amiable Governor, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori to handle the matter swiftly and resolve it amicably so that this issue would not be a black spot in his administration that has and still doing so much for Deltans.”

Rev. Oyibo commended Governor Oborevwori for his giant developmental strides that is ongoing in parts of State, he attributed it to the presence of peace and orderliness in the State, adding, “the peace we enjoy today and the rapid solid development ongoing today all over the State by the Oborevwori led administration is as a result of the presence of peace that now breeds good governance and leadership.

“We are experiencing dividends of democracy like never before in infrastructural development under your tenure. This is coming in the heals of sustainable peace and anything that would truncate the prevailing peace is what we should kick against.
