In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Aniagwu Ehiedu, Governor Okowa enjoined the Muslim Ummah to use the opportunity of this year’s festive season to demonstrate the essence of unity among the various ethnic groups that make up the country.

“Religion is a binding cord which espouses unity with a forward-looking resilience and every adherent who values his or her faith cannot afford to break from it”, the Governor stated.
