Scores of men of Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan have queued up for elective positions in the 2015 general elections.
Their posters and billboards are everywhere in the oil-rich city of Warri and other places as they set to capture elective positions next year.
Our checks revealed that Hon. Kenneth Efejuku and Barrister Val Ada Arenyeka, former NDDC Commissioner and current Special Project Director of Osubi Airstrip Expansion Project have declared their intentions to vie for the Warri Federal Constituency seat come 2015. But there are indications that the current occupant of the seat, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju is still warming up to run again next year.
Investigation also showed that a brother to Delta State governor, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan, Mr. Godwin Abigor, Director of Protocol to Governor Uduaghan, a former Chief Whip of Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Griftson Omatsuli are set to vie for Warri South Constituency I seat in the Delta State House of Assembly and ready to do battle with the current occupant of the seat, Hon. Omawumi Udoh, who has been out of the country since last year, but still interested in the 2015 House of Assembly race.
Our findings revealed that all those that had queued up for the 2015 elections in the Warri axis of the state are Governor Uduaghan’s men and the question now is, who will the governor support? Time will surely tell.
