The Warri South Local Government Area is engulfed in sorrow following the tragic passing of Hon. Jumi Odaji, the former councilor representing Bowen Ward 20 in the Warri South Legislative Arm.

The news of his untimely death in the early hours of Friday, June 28, 2024, has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving many in mourning.

Dr. Michael Tidi, the immediate past Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, has extended his deepest condolences to the family of the late Hon. Jumi Odaji.

In a statement released to the press, Dr. Tidi conveyed his sympathies and shared in the grief of the loved ones left behind by the departed councilor.
